Bean report

Report for my bean.          

Introduction 

 Last term kiri give us a bean so we can observe the bean that kiri           gave us. Kiri say that pretend this is your baby and that I need to take care of the bean and always put some water and heat it over the window. So The bean can grow like a kid does.

Method 

Firstly) Kiri gave us a bean that we need to take care.

Secondly)Kiri give us a plastic bag and a tissue so we can put the bean on the plastic bag.

Thirdly)We put the bean on the window so it can heat a little and so it can grow a little and we put some water aswell every single day.

Fourthly)We observe the bean because we wanna know what happened to our bean.

-Hypothesis

I think it will grow faster because I put much water

And I think it will show roots. Because it has a hole in the middle of my bean.

-Result)

-Conclusion

I learnt that you don't need a soil for the bean to grown up

And I learnt that how to observe a bean. 

That if there is a hole it means it's starting to grow

I put water  every single day.

I put it in the sunlight so it can heat.

If you put it in the sunlight and with a tissue the bean will bec omfortable.

After all of that I need to observe my bean of what happened.

Next year I will put my bean on the

 sunlight. And every single day I will 

water it one time and heat it in the 

sunlight so it can grow much nicer.

In Next year I will...

1.Kiri gave us a bean so we can observe the bean that Kiri gave us.

2.We put the bean on the bag or the petri dish and put a tissue on them so it can grow inside the Petri dish and the plastic bag.

3. We place the bean near the sunlight in the window so it can heat a little and grow a little.

4.We water it each day so it can grow in the Petri dish and in the plastic bag so the inside the bean can come out and show plants.

5. Some of the bean has a little hole in the middle of the bean. And if there's a hole in the bean it means that's where the plants gonna came out.

6.if you had no space for your bean and the bean has grow plants it means you need to plant it in the planter box so it can now grow many times a day or a week and a lot more space

9/8/16 My bean is 14mm the colour of it is white and the texture is smooth the shape of my bean is oval and no leaf and no anything else on my bean.

Biking memory

When I first ride my bike I was so excited, then it is actually hard in the first go. But I kept practising till I got it. So after that, I share with my cousins and friends and my cousin showed me some awesome stuff to do with biking. But when I learn that stuff, I became fast at biking and I kept crashing. But when I have trainer wheels it was the most easiest thing but when my dad took them off, it became hard.

Discovery Time Reflection

Today at discovery time i did animal race with Jack,niko,Hamish,Jackson and Sanjive.

What didn't went well was that I keep tripping my leg and if I Tripp I keep falling on jack.

The thing that went well was that it's fair and good because we are not hurting each other.

I could improve my learnings by listening the instruction so you can't be confused what you are doing.

I respected the right feelings and efforts of other when I do something accident and because if I don't respect I can hurt someone.

Pokemon puppets

Today at discovery time I did Pokemon puppets with Niko,Jack and Oliver tweedy.

My struggle was that sometimes if I cut I'm not careful so some of 

my Pokemon puppets has been cut off.

My challenge is that next time I need to be careful and do it nicely so it won't cut off again.

I learnt that I need to be careful at cutting because if I cut so many papers for an accident I'm just wasting papers.

My change is that I need to cut the paper carefully so I cannot cut the paper wrong again.

Overall I think that I need to practise cutting papers carefully.

Today at discovery time I did egg helmet with Sanjive and Charlie.

Something new I learnt was that we understand that we need materials because we only have a little bit so in egg helmet Sanjive only survive because he's egg helmet is simple and it can bounce so the egg cannot destroy .

My struggle is that i have no idea what material should I put in my egg helmet.

If I did it again I would bring some materials so we have many materials in egg helmet .

The person who stood out for me was Charlie because I have no materials so Charlie help me to find materials for my egg helmet.

Discovery Time Reflection T3

Today at Discovery Time I played with Niko,Jack,Oliver tweedy and me. me and my friends has nothing to do but Oliver tweedy decided to make a competition. And Oliver tweedy said that let's make a competition that who got the strongest Pokemon, so we timed it and if the timers done the timer will check if it is strong,

 and the timer will score the Pokemon, and the highest score is gonna be the winner. After that I did a colouring competition, but  I was so bad at colouring because I'm only good at drawing not colouring. So when I'm finished I drew on my sketchbook but I have no idea what should I draw so I just drew a ancient Anubis it is looking bad because I did not colour it.

My struggle is that I don't know what to do and hard to figure it out what am I gonna do in discovery time.

The person that I stood out is Fiona because she told me that I'm not aloud to play a game in the Safari because we are in the school.

My goal for next Discovery time I will bring my sketching book so I can sketch at discovery time.

Speech writing

Speech national anthem

Firstly, in the Philippines the national anthem mostly represents peace and tells people not to fight. When I heard our national anthem in the Philippines I felt that I needed to respect my parents and not fight with my cousins and have mercy on other people. Our national anthem in English means “Our country is one about bravery and courage for freedom and joy in our land of mountains and sea, blue skies and shining sun”. 

Secondly, because you are part of that country you need to sing the national anthem. Because I moved to New zealand I need to sing the New Zealand national anthem too, like others.

Thirdly in the Olympic Games they sing the national anthem, because if you sing the national anthem in Olympic Games it means you are voting and supporting your country. Some of the people always sing the national anthem because they care about their country. 

Lastly, singing the national anthem makes people feel like they belong to that country. When I moved here I felt that I belonged here just like other people in New Zealand. I sing the anthem but i’m still practising it.

Today at Discovery Time I did sketching with Oliver,Jackson,Jack and me . 

My struggle was that it is so hard to draw the tentacles and the face because I always need to erase the the wrong drawings.

I would like to improve my drawings because I need some focus and Effort.

A person who stood out for me was Jack because I use lot of effort and focus on drawings.

Claim everyone need to sing the national anthem

I claim the everyone needs to sing the national anthem.

Firstly, in the Philippines the national anthem mostly represents peaces and tells people not to fight. Thirdly, singing the national anthem makes people feel like they belong to the country. when I moved here I felt that I belonged in here as well like other people in New Zealand because I sung the anthem and i’m still practising it.

When i was not born, My dad got a 13  medals 3 bronze and 4 metals and 6 gold medals. And my dad's father and mother and brother are really proud of my dad because he is good at doing things and answering the question.My dad even show me the medals that he have and when he show me. I was very so proud of him and i think he work hard

At discovery time we play cricket with Oliver t. and when we are playing sharnika just come to us and join in a few minutes. I get a turn batting and no one can beat me because I'm doing well. when it's sharnika turn I beat her

In two hit when we are finish. we go to sharnika club it's basketball time. Oliver t got 10 shoots sharnika got 4 shots I got 8 shots &

I keep doing it so I got 10 shoots as well like Oliver t. and it's my favourite discovery time :)  .

Discovery time 4 survivo

Today at Discovery Time 1 I played survivor in the field and we have fun. I played with Leon, Jackson, Oliver smith, Liam, Jayden,Hamish, Felix, Gabriel. Pier and  me. We all had fun and it was so funny, the funny part was Liam, Jackson and me always stuck together and Hamish got too tired to catch us. We always go and get the ball off Hamish, Hamish almost tagged us but Liam passed the ball to Jackson and then Hamish got Jackson, and Jackson go to the circle and Hamish said how many are you guys I cannot handle three of you and we get the ball and stay the circle and that our Discovery time.

I join in with sketching in discovery time and I drew Metal Sonic,dinosaur,dragon,Deadpool,illusion,and more.

It's my best drawings ever, and my favourite drawing is Metal sonic, because Metal sonic is the most good that I ever draw this is my best discovery time ever.

My role was to work by myself and stay focussed. My strategy I am working on is watching an expert like my literacy Cerys. 

Popcorn 2

Popcorn.

Popcorn is the most delicious food, it pops out of a giant volcano and soared like a cannon ball .because when you cook it like flies up

It sounds so tasty and when I'm watching some movie. we have a popcorn all day and popcorn is my second favourite food .and on Wednesday my class eat popcorn and it's so delicious when we eat it i peak 15 piece of popcorn and we enjoying eating it.

In my special place is the ‘Armageddon Expodition happy people cheer, 

Demanding, excited children rush to buy toys and tools.

Bright costumed people strike a pose for pictures.

Kind parents buy toys and the children rejoice shouting and clapping.

At the discovery time I join to kendo jack teach us how to play it.sword fights is really cool that's my Favorite.the role I played is to practise and listen to instruction this is my first best discovery time. and when jack says you can play in three minutes, me and Sean played a real sword fight and when we are fighting I won he is like slipped in my sword Sean and me is like laughing and when Sanjive came and just play with us and Sanjive. is a little bit good in kendo and jack says what about if we make a video of kendo vs taekwondo the kendo is Sanjive and I'm the taekwondo Sanjive keep hitting me in the stomach.it's a little it hurt but when he hit me at my feet I slipped and won the first round and in the last round I won and in a few seconds it's packing up time and we have a super good discovery time.

Popcorn

Popcorn

Popcorn is a delicious food, the popcorn flies up in the sky like a cannon and shoots like a big delicious bullet. Popcorn is like a red volcano and just pop like lava when it goes into people's mouths. It tastes like cheese popcorn. when I'm 6 years old I like eating popcorn and it is become my favourite food. I can  see that it's really yummy,too eat.
